XEOMIN

XEOMIN

Merz latest product, called Xeomin

(incobotulinumtoxin A), is used for moderate and severe glabellar lines. It was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the United States July 20, 2011.  Xeomin is referred to as the “naked botox” since it does not have the proteins that may cause patients to become immune to its treatments. The median first onset of XEOMIN® effect occurs within 7 days of injection. The typical duration of effect is 3-4 months, but may last longer or shorter in individual patients.

In studies, XEOMIN®-treated subjects ranged from 24 to 74 years of age with an average age of 46.  Xeomin has proven to be extremely effective and is a great choice to relax frown lines between the brow.  Other places Xeomin has been used is crows feet and forehead wrinkles.
